R-Wipe&Clean can delete and wipe many files (logs, for example) created by various system services. Usually, those services lock the files making it impossible to access them. On the Services tab, you may specify what to do in this case.

If a running service locks a file to be deleted /wiped:

do not stop service (this file can be deleted/wiped at the next system startup)

If this option is selected, R-Wipe&Clean will not try to stop the service. The file will be wiped / deleted at the next system startup.

try to stop a service for a short time only if it has no dependent services (not used in scheduled tasks)

If this option is selected, R-Wipe&Clean will try to stop the service for a short time to wipe / delete the locked file only if there is no other services dependent on that service. This option will not.applicable for scheduled tasks.

If necessary, you may start the Service control panel to manage services by clicking the Launch Service control panel button.
