Using Scheduler


You may set a large wipe and clean task to run at a specified time or event. You may have several such tasks, each starting at its own time or event. You may even start such tasks from a command line .

Creating a Large Wipe and Clean Task at a Specified Time or Event

To schedule a new large wipe and clean task,

• Create and save a wipe & clean task

• Click the Schedule Task button.

A Schedule Task dialog box will appear.

• Specify time or event at which the task will start and other task options on the Schedule Task dialog box, and click the OK button.

Depending on the specified time or event, the fields Date and Time may change their names

Manually

The wipe and clean task will never start automatically. You may start it manually

At Date

The wipe and clean task will start on a specified date at a specified time or the first system startup

Periodically

The wipe and clean task will start in a specified time interval:


Every Time interval

Every specified time interval (hours and minutes)


Day

Every day at a specified time or the first system startup


Week

Every specified weekday at a specified time or the first system startup


Month

Every specified month day at a specified time or the first system startup

At System Event

The wipe and clean task will start at a specified system event


User Logon

Every user logon


System Startup

Every system startup. The task will start during the first logon after the system startup


User Logoff

Every user logoff


System Shutdown

Every system shutdown. The task will start during the logoff  when the system goes off or restarts.

At Internet app closing /At Program closing

At every closing a particular browser/communication program or all of them. On the Task Setting , you may add a custom program (not necessary an Internet application) to start running a scheduled task upon its closing. If such a program is added, this item changes its name to At Program closing .
